Dave Carden

Nick Dal Santo will be well supported as he coaches the Saints, with Dave Carden working closely alongside him as St Kilda’s assistant coach backline coach.

Moving into defence after spending 2021 as the Saints’ midfield coach, Carden brings plenty of experience to the club after spending 2020 as the Dandenong Stingray’s Under 18s Girls coach.

Before this, he had served as the assistant coach for Hawthorn’s VFLW side in 2019 and 2018, where his side won the flag.

He was also a part of the coaching structure with the Eastern Ranges Under 18 Girls side.

Captain Jack Steele has put up some impressive numbers in the Saints' opening month of the campaign, however it's the influence beyond the stats sheet that has had the most noticeable impact.
