For the fourth time this season, as voted by you, Tilly Lucas-Rodd is this week’s Sainter of the Round.

The dynamic midfielder has been in strong form throughout 2022, and Sunday was no exception as she helped the Saints to their first win of the year.

Lucas-Rodd was electric in the middle of the ground as she accumulated 21 disposals, 13 contested possessions and nine tackles, with her trademark pressure on show throughout the game.

It is now the sixth time that the 25-year-old has collected 20 or more touches this season, having only brought up 20-plus disposals once in her past five years at the elite level.

The two votes go to Nat Exon who returned the line-up on Sunday, playing a vital role in the St Kilda win.

Appearing in only her third game this year, Exon impressed with 14 disposals, eight tackles and important goal in the first quarter to give her side the early momentum.

While injuries have kept the 29-year-old from taking to the field for most of the season, head coach Nick Dal Santo will be pleased to have Exon back in the Saints’ engine room.

Taking the final vote of the round is veteran midfielder Catherine Phillips, who finished the match with 18 disposals, four intercept marks and 311 metres gained.

Phillips was a calm head throughout the contest, providing crucial experience late in the contest.
