The fans have spoken, and as voted by you, Dougal Howard is this week’s Dare Iced Coffee Sainter of the Round.

Despite falling short to Melbourne at the MCG, the co-vice-captain fought tooth-and-nail through the reigning premiers' classy attack on Sunday afternoon.

A consistent and relentless four-quarter effort in defence, Howard ended his day with a game-high 16 spoils (ranked number one in the competition), 10 marks and 18 disposals at over 80 percent efficiency.

The No. 20 gave his all as he rallied the backline, collecting 16 one-percenters and working alongside Callum Wilkie to steady the ship, the two combining for a collective 22 marks between them.

Jack Steele backed it up with another strong performance to secure the two votes.

The Skipper led by example as the Saints worked their way back into the contest, amassing 29 disposals, six inside-50s and four clearances.

Steele currently has the most tackles (54) in the competition.

Brad Crouch rounds out this week’s voting with 27 disposals at over 70 per cent efficiency.

The on-baller was fierce in the middle with a game-high nine tackles that now sees him with 52 tackles on the board for 2022, two short of Steele.
