St Kilda has nominated five of its players for the AFL Players' Association MVP awards on Wednesday night.

Jack Steele, Marcus Windhager, Daniel McKenzie, Jack Sinclair and Callum Wilkie were all nominated by their teammates, with Steele, Sinclair and Wilkie all in the running to take out the Most Valuable Player award.

Windhager, who took out the Round 22 NAB Rising Star, was nominated for the Best First Year Player, while McKenzie was nominated for Most Courageous.

Steele was also nominated for the Best Captain award.

The 2022 MVP Awards will be held on Wednesday 24 August alongside the AFL Awards and broadcast live on Fox Footy.
