J’Noemi Anderson will make her much-anticipated debut tomorrow night against Geelong, with Clara Fitzpatrick also returning from personal leave in time for Round 5.

The 17-year-old Anderson, taken with pick No. 7 at this season’s Victorian draft pool, will make history on Thursday by becoming the first Indigenous AFLW Saints player to represent the club at the highest level.

Anderson’s mob is Warlpiri Warumungu, located near Tennent Creek in the Northern Territory, where her love of football began. She currently boards at Melbourne Girls’ Grammar while completing her Year 12 studies.
