St Kilda Football Club has made another list change, advising Jarrod Lienert he will not be offered a contract for 2023.

The 28-year-old was signed to the Saints last pre-season during the Supplemental Selection Period following 23 senior appearances for Port Adelaide over four seasons.

Lienert registered 11 games in the red, white and black, making his club debut in Round 2 against Fremantle, before featuring in a historic Saints line-up in Round 4 which featured a club record seven Indigenous Saints.

“It’s never easy when making these decisions,” Head of List Management James Gallagher said.

“We brought Jarrod in following Nick Coffield’s ACL injury in February this year, and off a very limited pre-season he performed above our expectations.

"Jarrod was a great teammate throughout the season and embraced his second opportunity at senior level, never taking any of it for granted.

“We wish him all the best for the future, and he will always be welcome at St Kilda.”
