St Kilda has been outplayed by Port Adelaide in Shanghai, with the Power running away with a 70-point victory at Adelaide Arena at Jiangwan Stadium.

After a see-sawing first term, the Power took control, making the most of their opportunities while the Saints squandered theirs.

Despite Rowan Marshall starring in the ruck, the Saints fell away badly after half time in the club’s poorest performance for the season.

An inexperienced backline leaked goals, while Power guns Travis Boak and Robbie Gray controled the middle.

Jade Gresham finished with three goal, but it was Marshall who was the Saints’ best.

The young ruckman took on both Paddy Ryder and Scott Lycett and impressed with his marking around the ground and second efforts at ground level.

A lower-leg injury to skipper Jarryn Geary made a bad day worse, with scans this evening to reveal the full extent of the damage.
