St Kilda's unblemished start to its 2023 campaign has been accompanied a complete clean sweep of the AFL Coaches' Association votes from Saturday's fixture against Gold Coast.

Reigning Best & Fairest Jack Sinclair (31 disposals, nine score involvements, seven inside-50s) topped the six-man group with nine votes for his prominent outing, while breakout forward Mitch Owens clinched eight votes following his electric 27 touches and two goals which steered the Saints to victory.

Fellow forward Jack Higgins was rewarded with six votes in his equal-career best five-goal haul - the second of his career, the first also coming against the Suns last year - while Brad Crouch (three votes), Callum Wilkie (three) and Seb Ross (one) rounding out the tally.

It's the third time the stand-in captain Wilkie has polled this season, putting him level with Sinclair on 18 votes for the Saints' table of vote-getters.

Meanwhile, Crouch jettisoned into the votes for the first time this year, ending his in-and-under evening at the coalface with 34 disposals, eight tackles and six clearances after registering just seven possessions in the first half.

The 29-year-old is averaging a touch over 30 disposals and six clearances per game with the first month of the season complete.

Fifteen of St Kilda's 25 players used at senior level have now polled coaches' votes in 2023.
