Callum Wilkie's assured display against Collingwood has moved him six clear of Jack Sinclair in the AFLCA coaches' votes tally and into equal-third position on the overall leaderboard after five rounds.

The two defenders were tied following Sinclair's nine-vote game against Gold Coast, before Wilkie's standout showing as part of Gather Round thrust him level with Sydney's Chad Warner (24 votes) and behind the top-two of Nick Daicos (35) and Jeremy Cameron (26).

Wilkie amassed 24 disposals, 14 rebound-50s, 11 marks, 10 intercepts and 539 metres gained in one of his most prominent outings for the club, partnering well with Josh Battle (24 disposals, 13 marks, 523 metres gained) to stem the flow of the Collingwood attack.
