Cooper Sharman will join St Kilda's senior line-up for the first time this season as he and the Saints ready for battle against North Melbourne on Sunday afternoon.

The 22-year-old has been named as an emergency six times this season, breaking into the starting 22 this week in what will be his 16th senior appearance.

Sharman, who has played along the wing this VFL season, comes in for Zaine Cordy (omitted), while last week's medical substitute Marcus Windhager has again been named on the emergencies list.

Windhager, Cordy, Jack Bytel and Tom Campbell have been selected as emergencies, with one of the four to be confirmed as the substitute an hour before the bounce.

St Kilda and North Melbourne will conclude Round 8 on Sunday afternoon at Marvel Stadium, commencing at 4:40pm.
