Dan McKenzie, Jack Billings and Zak Jones are all set to play at VFL level this week, putting a close to their respective rehabilitation periods.
For McKenzie, this weekend will mark more than 12 months since his last competitive hit-out.
“Seeing Jack, Zak and particularly Dan back on the park will be really pleasing and a credit to the hard work of the athletes and our rehabilitation staff,” Acting General Manager of Football David Misson said.
“Working through injuries is taxing and requires a lot of commitment, so, all going to plan, to see that rewarded is great.”
Should the trio pass mid-week fitness tests they will line up for Sandringham against Brisbane at Wilson Storage Trevor Barker Beach Oval on Saturday morning.
