St Kilda could be buoyed by the returns of Tim Membrey, Jack Hayes and Zaine Cordy this week, pending fitness tests.
The three tall forwards have all missed football this year for various reasons.
Cordy was just days away from graduating concussion protocols, seeing him miss Sunday’s game against North Melbourne, while hamstring awareness saw Hayes miss what would have been his third hitout back from injury.
Membrey has been completing an individualised program over the past two months as part of the ongoing management of a knee injury. His return this week would see him play for the first time since Round 9.
“It’s pleasing to potentially have Tim, Jack and Zaine available this week,” Acting General Manager of Football David Misson said.
“There are still a few hurdles to jump, but even having them in the frame is positive.”
Meanwhile, Bradley Hill will miss this week, with scan results this afternoon revealing bruising to his lungs.
“While he’s avoided serious damage, Bradley will miss this week and further tests will determine his return-to-play timeline,” Misson said.
“Bradley’s health is our primary concern and as such we’ll take no undue risks when it comes to him returning to the field.”
