Team Selection: One change as Saints fly into maiden battle with Bombers

Darcy Guttridge has come into the side as St Kilda and Essendon prepare for their first encounter at Windy Hill.

Darcy Guttridge has returned to the line-up as St Kilda locks horns with Essendon this Sunday for the first time in the AFLW competition.

The adaptable Saint comes in for last week's debutant Beth Pinchin, who has been omitted for Round 2 at Windy Hill.

Pinchin joins Deanna Jolliffe and Nat Exon as emergencies; the latter pair named in the squad for the first time this season.

With this weekend's maiden match-up against the Bombers, the red, white and black will have squared off against every side in the league.

Sunday's contest will also mark the Bombers' first AFLW game at their spiritual home of Windy Hill.

St Kilda and Essendon will go toe-to-toe this Sunday at Windy Hill, with the opening bounce locked for 3:05pm.
