David Armitage can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea after making careless contact with umpire Nick Foot during the second quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Demons.

Fellow midfielder Jack Steele was involved in a clash with Demon Max Gawn in the final term in the Round 7 match and can accept a $2000 sanction with an early plea.

Defender Jake Carlisle’s hit on Jesse Hogan was also assessed, but it was the view of the match review officer that “the force used in the contact was below that required for a charge to be laid, and no further action was required after the free kick was paid”.
