St Kilda has finalised its team to face Melbourne in Alice Springs on Sunday.

Former Blue Jack Carroll will make his club debut after starring in the VFL last week. The midfielder played 21 games at Carlton and looms as an exciting addition to the Saints' mix through the middle.

Dan Butler will also make his first senior appearance of the season after two games at VFL level following an achilles concern.

Darcy Wilson and Liam O'Connell have both been omitted from the 23.

The starting sub will be named an hour prior to the bounce on Sunday.
