Tobie Travaglia

31 disposals, six marks, 12 intercept possessions

Had a really good game winning plenty of the footy across half back. He was strong in the contest and also showed plenty of run to link up in some of our better passages of play. Probably his strongest showing at VFL level.

Paddy Dow

27 disposals, six inside 50's, five tackles, five clearances

Was really strong again through the midfield and has been really consistent over the last month of footy as he builds his match fitness. Continues to be great around stoppage and ability to drive his legs and get the ball from inside to out.

Max Heath

24 disposals, 19 hitouts, 11 clearances

Had a good battle with Tom Campbell and the other Casey rucks. Provided some really good grunt after coming back into the side with some experience at AFL level and continues to be a strong competitor.

Liam Henry

19 disposals, four tackles, one goal

Played a mixture of high half forward and midfield and saw some of his attributes where he was clean below his knees and his ability to use his pace and skills. Showed some really good signs but has more to work on in the coming weeks.

Zaine Cordy

15 disposals, six marks

Great to have him in the backline as he acts as a real general for us. It was a tough day for the defenders with the ball coming in but his leadership and ability to use the ball out of the back half is really important for us.

James Barrat

11 disposals, six marks

Been working really hard on his body positioning and body work in the marking contest. You can see he is developing that and working hard on it but had a tough day against a strong forward line. There’s no doubt his better footy is right ahead of him.

Liam O'Connell

13 disposals, six tackles, three score involvements

Played his first full game through the midfield and it was a great experience for him against some AFL-experienced players at Casey. He did some really good things in and around the contest and was really disciplined on his man around the stoppages.

Alex Dodson

Nine disposals, three marks, one goal

A quieter game than his last few performances as he shared more of the ruck duties and came up against some experienced opponents in there that matched up physically. It was good for him to try and work his way through these opponents and get his own footy.

Harry Boyd

Seven disposals, three marks, four score involvements

Harry played in defence for the first time and we thought he did really well as a key position post. We liked his ability to get a fist in and make a contest and also provided good leadership alongside Zaine.

Eamonn Armstrong

Five disposals, one score involvement

His first game at VFL level where he showed a lot of promise and really good signs. His ability to defend one-on-one but then also win ground balls and use his speed was really good to see.
