Young forward J’Noemi Anderson is a chance to face Brisbane this weekend as she nears a return from a hamstring injury that has sidelined her for much of the season.
Anderson, who sustained the initial injury in the Saints’ season opener, will be required to get through main training this week to put her hand up for selection.
“J’Noemi has put in a mountain of work to get herself back to this point, and we’re really proud of the resilience she’s shown, particularly after having a setback along the way,” St Kilda GM of AFLW Jessie Mulholland said.
“We’ve certainly missed having her out there this season. She brings a lot to our group, and we’re really looking forward to hopefully seeing her back in the side this weekend.”
Meanwhile, Round 5 Rising Star nominee Jade McLay has been moved to the short-term injury list as she continues to progress well in her recovery from a calf injury.
