In an Australia first, St Kilda is offering its fans the chance to secure discounted tickets to Sunday’s clash with the Demons directly through the club’s mobile app.

The Saints have teamed up with global tech company, Experience, to integrate new technology that allows fans to both purchase a ticket to the game and scan in through their mobile device.

HOW IT WORKS:

Step 1: Download the official Saints App to your phone.

Step 2: Tap the ‘GA Access for just $15’ card

Step 3: Follow the prompts to purchase your exclusive $15 General Admission ticket and obtain your St Kilda Mobile Pass.

Step 4: Scan your St Kilda Mobile Pass at the allocated Etihad Stadium entry gate directly from your mobile device for entry.

St Kilda’s Attendance and Engagement Manager Eranna Weisenberger said Saints fans could enjoy a more seamless and stress-free ticketing experience on match days by using the new technology.

“It’s a straightforward and simple process,” she told saints.com.au.

“We’re hoping to see more people purchasing tickets on their mobile devices, with the possibility of eventually integrating this into membership products in the future.”

Weisenberger said the fact that St Kilda is pioneering the technology in the AFL is testament to the club’s continued commitment to innovation and improving its fans’ experience.

“It’s the very first time this technology has been used for retail ticketing in Australia, so it’s a first for the AFL,” she said.

“This is a really exciting step for ticketing, not only for the club and our fans, but for the AFL, Etihad Stadium and other tenant clubs, too.”

This weekend’s crucial fixture sees the Saints seek retribution against the Demons, who have won the last two league encounters between the two sides.
