Bradley Hill and Jade Gresham have done their sides proud after featuring in Friday night’s star-studded State of Origin Bushfire Game.

Victoria emerged triumphant over the All Stars in the high-scoring 24.10 (154) to 15.18 (108) result, which raised funds for those affected by the recent bushfire crisis.

The two Saints provided their own pieces of magic in the elite-level affair, utilising their speed and flair to add to the scoreboard for their respective teams.

Gresham ended his evening with two goals, 15 disposals and four marks, and could easily have ended with a third before selflessly passing off to continue the Big V’s final quarter onslaught.

The 22-year-old’s teammate-turned-rival Hill racked up 17 disposals, 24 pressure acts, 10 score involvements and a goal.

His precision kicking at full tilt was on display throughout the evening, and fitted seamlessly into the match’s insane skill level and lightning-quick pace.

It was a massive honour to put on the Big V for a great cause.

The All Stars shined bright in the early stages of the game despite some errant kicking at goal, before working their way to a five-goal lead by the third quarter as the game’s best impressed at every turn.

But the Vics saved their inspiring surge home for last, piling on an unanswered eight goals to run out emphatic 46-point winners.

A crowd of 51,052 crammed under the roof of Marvel Stadium, with all proceeds going towards the bushfire relief.
