TERRY Milera’s 2013 was shortened due to an ankle injury sustained in late July.
Prior to this, the goal-sneak had played 10 games for St Kilda and booted seven goals – largely playing as a lead-up half-forward.
His most prolific game came against Melbourne in round 13, when he finished with a career-best 23 disposals and seven marks in Nick Riewoldt and Nick Dal Santo’s 250th match.
Milera, who stands at 183cms is a crafty forward, who is just as adept at leading hard at the ball carrier as he is roving a pack. His versatility and cleverness around goal is sure to be an X-factor next year.
Forward-line coach Adam Kingsley:
”Terry had indifferent form throughout the season. His best was really good but he needs to develop a level of consistency that’s at an AFL standard. Unfortunately he broke his ankle and he’s been recovering ever since about round 15 but he should be right for pre-season.
He’s a smart player, he’s a beautiful kick of the footy and he has the potential to be a really big player for us.”
