Saint Warne
AUSTRALIAN cricket legend Shane Warne has delighted fans at Etihad Stadium
But it was footy skills, not cricket, that Warne was displaying.
While we might be a little generous describing Warne's skills as sublime, the spin king did show some fine touch with the Sherrin.
Warne famously played for St Kilda's Under 19s team in the 1980s before deciding on a career in cricket.
Donned in a St Kilda guernsey bearing the number 23, Warne kicked four goals in a best on ground performance.
He lined up on good mate and former Saint Aaron Hamill in the short game, played before St Kilda's match against Greater Western Sydney on Saturday.
A number of former Saints played in the game, including Hamill, Max Hudghton, Andrew Thompson, Brett Voss and Russell Morris.
