Georgia Patrikios has taken home her second Dare Iced Coffee Sainter of the Round nomination of Season 2021 following her hard-fought efforts at a sodden RSEA Park.

The productive on-baller battled through the GWS midfield and challenging conditions to collect 27 disposals, 10 tackles and five clearances by the final siren.

Despite the inclement weather, Patrikios equalled her previous disposals record – a club best – and was one of her side’s most prominent tacklers alongside Tyanna Smith (14), Cat Phillips (12) and Alice Burke (10).

The 19-year-old had 17 of her touches by the first half, scrapping her way from contest to contest alongside Burke and ruck Poppy Kelly help put her side five points adrift at the main change.

Patrikios split her time winning the footy on the inside and outside, gaining valuable meterage (a game-high 441) as the Saints attempted to crack into their attacking half after conceding a four-goal advantage in the opening term.

With two rounds remaining for Season 2021, Patrikios continues to hold her lead for St Kilda’s total disposals (156), metres gained (2378), clearances (23) and inside-50s (22).
