St Kilda Football Club's 150-year anniversary has been made even sweeter on the eve of finals football, with the club breaking last year's all-time membership record to finish its milestone year with a total of 60,239 members.

It is the second time in club history that the red, white and black has surpassed the 60,000 member mark, as well as the sixth consecutive year of membership growth.

"This year's milestone celebrations have been about our most loyal fans and members, and we are honoured to share this achievement with every single member who has stood by us this year," CEO Simon Lethlean said.

"Our club motto of 'Strength Through Loyalty' has been at the heart of this year, and has not faded despite the challenges we have faced over the past 12 months. Our club has experienced a great deal of change, but the loyalty of our members endured.

"We saw right from the beginning of the off-season the commitment and passion of our members, especially so in our 150th Year Anniversary Game at the MCG in Round 3, and right through until our final three home games at Marvel Stadium against Carlton, Richmond and Geelong.

"It is such an exciting time for the club with finals football fast approaching and the AFLW season recently commencing. There is no better time to be a Saint than right now.

"We hope this momentum will be the perfect springboard for us to take the next step forward on multiple fronts in 2024 and beyond, and we again thank every single St Kilda member for making this possible.”
