Alex Dodson

29 disposals, 35 hitouts, 10 clearances, three goals

His first game as the number one ruck and has really blossomed in this past month. He’s been on a path of continual improvement and his ability to follow up at ground level and impact in the air forward of the footy was great, resulting in his three goals and a really strong all-round game.

Darcy Wilson

33 disposals, eight tackles, six clearances, eight inside 50s

A strong performance from Darcy playing on the ball where he was able to get inside the contest and use his speed and power on the outside. Was tougher with the conditions and the smaller ground but had some really strong moments.

Arie Schoenmaker

25 disposals, 11 marks, one goal

His first game as a full-time wingman and was able to show all his attributes including his ability to distribute the ball in the tough conditions. Impacted the game both offensively and defensively so he took a really good step forward.

Paddy Dow

33 disposals, 14 clearances, eight inside 50s, five tackles

A really strong performance and a great step forward for Paddy. He’s looked to have regained a lot of strength and power in his legs coming off his injury and has been progressing to this weekend where he was able to win the ball inside and outside and running some really efficient patterns in transition.

Patrick Said

13 disposals, five tackles, two goals

His best game for the club at VFL level. He’s really starting to find his feet with the requirements of a small forward and just playing his role being in and around the contest and landing front and square. His forward pressure was a highlight and was great to see him impact the scoreboard.

Ryan Byrnes

22 disposals, seven inside 50s, six tackles, four clearances

A really professional performance from one of our more experienced members of the team. Showed strong leadership as an inside midfielder  predominantly and communicated well with his teammates to produce another good game.

Zaine Cordy

15 disposals, eight marks, seven intercepts

A good return to footy for Zaine with his ability to show great leadership and set up our structure behind the ball. He rarely got beaten in the contest which was great to see in his first game of footy after a long period out.

Angus McLennan

16 disposals, seven marks, six intercepts

A really good all-round game both in the air and on the ground from Angus. Made some really quick decisions in transition to cover exits and defend while also showed strong disposal and ball use which has been a focus for him.

Zak Jones

23 disposals, five clearances, four tackles

Got a heavy tag in the first half and was still able to produce a good game both with his own numbers and helping out the team. Was selfless in his ability to create 2v1’s and impact heavily in the contest while leading the midfield.

Tobie Travaglia

16 disposals, six intercepts

Tobie had some clear focuses from last week’s contest against Box Hill and we thought that was really evident in his game on Sunday. His ability to stay in the game and keep concentrating on his role and not ball-watching was strong, allowing the ball to come to him in the right positions.

James Barrat

Seven disposals, five intercepts, one goal

Was again solid in his defence this week, setting up the ground really well and following our structures. Played a bit of a different role this week on a smaller opponent but was able to make an impact and work well with his fellow defenders.

Lance Collard

Five disposals, one goal

Moved back forward this week after a few weeks trialled on the wing. He was able to show glimpses of his pressure and ability to keep the ball inside 50 but copped a few knocks late in the contest that kept him on the bench for a large portion.
