Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera will remain a Saint, with the 22-year-old star inking a two-year contract extension to keep him in red, white and black until at least the end of the 2027 season.

Wanganeen-Milera’s ability to launch the Saints’ attack with precision, poise and trademark class has seen the No. 7 become one of the most sought-after signatures in the league.

“Nasiah’s commitment to the club is a strong vote of confidence in not only the culture we’ve built, but in the future we’re creating both on and off the field,” Executive General Manager of Football David Misson said.

“Nas is a well-loved and deeply connected member of our team. His decision to stay is brilliant news for the entire footy club, from the playing group to our loyal supporters.

“He’s an incredibly exciting and talented footballer, and we’re thrilled to watch him continue to develop as an integral part of our club.”

A proud Kokatha and Narungga man, Wanganeen-Milera has firmly established himself as one of the league’s rising stars across his 85 AFL games to date.

Currently enjoying a career-best season, the dynamic defender has elevated his game to new heights, cementing himself as one of St Kilda’s most valuable players and putting himself in strong contention for a maiden All-Australian blazer in just his fourth AFL season.

“From the moment I arrived at St Kilda, the staff and my teammates have supported me in every way, not just to be a better footballer, but a better person,” Wanganeen-Milera said.

“I know how special it is to pull on the red, white and black. Every time I run out, I’m representing my family, my culture and this club. That means everything to me.

“I’ve still got so much I want to improve in my game, and I know this is the right place for me to keep growing. I’ve got great people around me who push me to be better every day.

“I want to help create something long-lasting here. We’ve got a tight group and a clear direction, and I’m proud to be part of building that future.”

Drafted with pick No. 11 in the 2021 AFL Draft, Wanganeen-Milera has delivered elite performances throughout 2025, currently ranked number one in the competition for kicks and metres gained, while averaging 30.2 disposals per game this season.

Wanganeen-Milera becomes the eighth Saint to re-sign in 2025, following contract extensions from Mitchito Owens, Jack Higgins, Hunter Clark, Hugo Garcia, Angus Hastie, Max Hall and Hugh Boxshall.

To mark the re-signing of the talented No. 7, the Saints have launched a special edition 7-day, $7 membership which entitles you to general admission access to three home games at Marvel Stadium in 2026.
