Linton St was full of action on Sunday, with competitive football played at RSEA Park for the first time in close to two decades.

The Southern Saints started with a bang on Sunday, thumping Collingwood by 35 points in a convincing display.

With a big crowd gathered at RSEA Park, the Saints got rolling after quarter time to overpower the Magpies.

It the VFL, it was a nail-biter with Sandringham holding on to win by two points.

Luke Dunstan collected 32 disposals, a booming 60m goal giving the Zebras space on the scoreboard at the final change.

Despite failing to score in the final quarter, the Zebras held firm against the wind to deny Frankston their first win of the season.
