Small forward Jack Higgins will be a test to face Walyalup on Friday night after experiencing knee soreness during Sunday night’s win over Richmond.

“Jack was assessed during the first quarter and was able to return to play out the remainder of the game,” GM of Football Lenny Hayes said.

“His recovery will be monitored throughout the week, but we’ll give him every opportunity to play this week.”

The Saints’ forward line is also set to receive a boost in the short term, with handy goal kicker Dan Butler closing in on a return from his hamstring injury.

Mitch Owens, Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera and Liam Ryan are all projected to return in a fortnight, with the trio progressing well through their respective rehabilitation programs.
