Established in 1999, The Blue-Ribbon Cup commemorates the life and service of Victoria Police officers Sergeant Gary Silk, and Senior Constable Rodney Miller who were killed in the line of duty at Moorabbin on the 16th of August 1998.
At the conclusion of the game there will be a short presentation where players from each team will receive a commemorative Blue Ribbon Medal.
