The Saints will head into Round 5 unscathed from the weekend, as young midfielder J’Noemi Anderson closes in on a return.

The 21-year-old will rejoin the group for main training this week as she continues her recovery from the hamstring injury she sustained in Round 1.

Meanwhile, draftee Abby Hobson is set for an extended period on the sidelines after injuring her ankle in Round 3, with scans revealing a ruptured ligament.

After making her AFLW debut in Round 1, the 18-year-old has had an interrupted start to her first season, having also missed Round 2 through concussion.

“It’s a disappointing result for Abby, who put in a mountain of work over the off-season to earn her opportunity” General Manager of AFLW Jessie Mulholland said.

“She’ll now begin her rehab program with the hope we can see her back out there in the second half of the season.”
