Sandringham VFLW train-on player Zoe Barbakos will make her St Kilda debut against Gold Coast on Sunday.

The Sandringham Dragons product joined Hawthorn as an expansion signing ahead of Season Seven in 2022, going on to play seven AFLW games across two seasons with the Hawks.

The 22-year-old has spent the past three seasons with St Kilda’s AFLW affiliate Sandringham Zebras in the VFLW, where she has become known for her electrifying speed and competitiveness.

“It’s an exciting opportunity for Zoe to make her club debut and come into the side to face Gold Coast,” General Manager AFLW Jessie Mulholland said.

“Stepping into an AFLW side midway through the season isn’t an easy task, but we have full confidence in Zoe and the professionalism she’s shown as a train-on player over the past two years.”
