Maya Louvel-Finn continues to shine for the red, white, and black, showcasing her developing defensive prowess in the backline. The 19-year-old amassed 12 disposals, six intercept possessions, six tackles, and five marks and was a shining light in the loss.
3: Blazing Baskaran
Charlotte Baskaran compiled together a strong performance, highlighted by her ruthless work in the centre. The 21-year-old finished the day recording 10 disposals, eight tackles, and four intercept possessions.
4: Tyanna Smith’s 50th
Tyanna notched up game 50 at Mars Stadium and put together a tidy performance to go with it. In trying conditions, Smith recorded 17 disposals, six inside 50s, four tackles, and three clearances. She put in a big shift recording 89 per cent time on ground and provided great run from the source.
5: Nicola Xenos’ 350 return
After 350 days away from the field, it was an emotional return for Xenos who played a great physical role. It was fantastic to see her back out on the park, as she recorded four tackles on the day and provided great support around the contest.
