RSEA Park will be the centerpiece of summer in 2020, with St Kilda’s AFLW team set to take the field for the first time.

The Saints will host four games at the iconic venue, kicking off with an historic first encounter in Round 1 on Sunday, 9 February at 3.10pm.

Thousands of fans and local residents are expected to converge on RSEA Park for a very special homecoming.

It’s been 28 years since the red, white and black last appeared at Moorabbin, with supporters set to forge a new tradition at the much-loved ground.

While the focus will of course be on the action in the middle and the club’s emerging generation of heroes, the Saints are determined to create a festival-type atmosphere.

Activities around the ground will centre on food, fun and family entertainment, with the entire community encouraged to get behind the trailblazing young Saints.

Peta Searle’s team is bracing for a tough initiation into the 14-team competition, with the all-conquering Adelaide Crows waiting across the border in Round 2.

Just five days later, the Saints return home to RSEA Park to take on Melbourne under Friday night lights, before hosting Fremantle in Round 4 on Sunday, 1 March.

Carlton is next at Ikon Park in Round 5, before the Saints host fellow newcomer Richmond in Round 6 on Saturday, 14 March in their final home match of the regular season.

The Saints finish off their home-and-away campaign with games against Collingwood at Victoria Park and West Coast in Perth.
