St Kilda Football Club has advised Doulton Langlands, Ryan Abbott, Jack Bell, Jack Mayo and Logan Austin that they will not be offered contracts for the 2021 season.

They join retired veteran Nathan Brown as the club’s initial list changes.

Head of List Management James Gallagher thanked the players on behalf of the club.

“These are never easy decisions, particularly after the sacrifices every one of our players has made this year living away from home for an extended period,” he said.

We thank them for their commitment to our program and for contributing to the growth of the playing group.

“We wish them well in their next endeavours.”

Austin played 18 AFL games, including seven with the Saints after being traded from Port Adelaide at the end of the 2017 season.

Abbott joined the Saints as a delisted free agent at the end of the 2019 season and made one appearance in the red, white and black to add to his five for Geelong.

Langlands (pick No. 8 in the 2017 Rookie Draft) played three games for the Saints, all in 2019, while rookies Jack Mayo and Jack Bell did not play a senior game after being taken in the 2019 mid-season and Rookie Drafts respectively.
