The St Kilda injury list remains stable heading into Round 17 against the Hawks.
Zaine Cordy is closing in on a return to play, following a lengthy period on the sidelines rehabilitating a pectoral injury.
“Zaine’s injury was substantial, so it’s pleasing to see that all going well he will be back playing football in the very near future,” EGM Football David Misson said.
Mattaes Phillipou is progressing well through his plantaris recovery, with timelines currently projecting more football for the 20-year-old before the end of the season.
Max King has entered the first stage of recovery following surgery on his right knee.
“It’s important for all of us that Max’s knee has time to properly heal and recover from what was a significant surgery,” Misson said.
“Max will be reasonably immobile for a period of weeks, before he returns to load bearing on that knee, followed by gradual progression from there.”
