St Kilda Football Club has officially commenced the search for its next AFLW Senior Coach.
St Kilda has consulted several experienced football figures from within and outside the club to help identify the key attributes required in its next AFLW Senior Coach.
Those consulted include St Kilda General Manager AFLW Jessie Mulholland, General Manager of Football Lenny Hayes, AFL Executive General Manager AFLW, Health and Football Operations Laura Kane, experienced coach Dale Amos, and Apogee Sports consultant Brad Lloyd.
The club is seeking a candidate with elite football acumen, demonstrated leadership in high-performance AFL or AFLW environments, and a proven ability to develop players as it strives for consistent success in an evolving AFLW competition.
Specific role information will be provided to individuals who express interest in the position and who meet the selection criteria.
Formal interviews will be conducted by a panel comprising Jessie Mulholland, Brad Lloyd and St Kilda Executive General Manager People and Culture Stacey Dowdell.
Shortlisted candidates will then present to St Kilda's AFLW committee. The committee includes Chief Executive Officer Carl Dilena and Board representatives with AFL and AFLW portfolios, including former Saint and current Director Jason Blake. The preferred candidate will then require endorsement by the St Kilda Board.
The club has already received strong interest from candidates with AFL and AFLW experience and encourages other suitably qualified applicants to contact the club to express their interest.
