St Kilda has named its 26-man extended squad ahead of Sunday's clash with Sydney at the SCG.

The Saints will make at least four changes to the side that lost to Hawthorn in Round 12 as they look to bounce back away from home.

Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera, Mitch Owens and Liam Ryan have all been added to the extended squad after recovering from respective calf injuries, with Wanganeen-Milera and Owens named on the field to return.

Newest Saint Campbell Lake is one of four other additions to the extended squad alongside Liam Stocker, Angus Hastie and Alex Dodson. 

As previously reported, Sam Flanders will miss the rest of the season after rupturing his Achilles tendon in the game against the Hawks, with the midfielder undergoing successful surgery on Monday.

In addition, Isaac Keeler, Jack Carroll and Liam Henry have been omitted from the side.

The final team will be announced at 5:00pm AEST on Friday.

The game will be played at 3:15pm AEST on Sunday, and will be broadcast live on Seven, Fox Footy and Kayo.
