St Kilda head out of the bye in Round 16 with six wins, and a refreshed attitude looking into the final stretch of the year as they look to get themselves into the top 10.

The Saints sit at fifth across the league in average disposals, lead by star midfielder Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera, averaging 29.3 disposals a game and sitting 10th across the league in that department.

Behind Wanganeen-Milera, the Saints co-captains in Jack Sinclair and Callum Wilkie are finding plenty of the footy, averaging 27.1 and 23.4 disposals respectively.

Wilkie's season has been another outstanding one, with the superstar key defender well in the conversation for a second All-Australian blazer.

Wilkie leads the AFL in total marks this season, as well as being third for intercept marks and 24th for spoils.

The No.44 has also engaged in the fourth-most contested defensive one-on-one's (46), and won 84.8% of those contests.

In tandem with the high disposal counts in 2026, it's the clearance work that has been lauded as much-improved since 2025.

Hugo Garcia drills a beautiful finish straight out of the middle before Max Hall curls a quick finish just moments later.

St Kilda rank third in clearances per game across the league, lead by rising gun Hugo Garcia.

Garcia has had an incredible breakout campaign, averaging 6.1 clearances a game (12th in the AFL) to go along with 22.7 disposals and 5.3 tackles.

Alongside Garcia, Rowan Marshall and Max Hall are proving influential in extracting the ball, with 4.4 and 3.9 clearances a game respectively. 

Elsewhere around the ground, Liam Ryan is enjoying a sensational first year in red, white and black.

The man affectionately dubbed 'Flyin' has kicked 22 goals in 2026, just eight away from his career-best output in a single season.

Liam Ryan may have just taken the Mark of the Year after using Brodie Grundy as a stepladder in this incredible speccy.

Despite hauls of five and six goals in back-to-back weeks, it's Ryan's aerial ability that has had Saints fans fall in love with the former Eagle.

Just behind him in the goal-kicking is Cooper Sharman, with 20 goals from 15 matches. Three-time leading goal-kicker Jack Higgins is also hovering, with 18 goals from just nine matches.
