Jack Steele will make his return to the senior line-up against Sydney, with the skipper one of two inclusions for Saturday night’s Pride Game.

Steele - who missed four matches with an AC injury - will be joined by Cooper Sharman following his strong fortnight at VFL level, while last week's unused medical sub Marcus Windhager has been brought into the starting 22.

The incoming Saints replace Paddy Ryder (managed), Jack Higgins (omitted) and Bradley Hill, who had limited preparation for Round 15 after taking personal leave early in the week to deal with a family matter.

Higgins, Darragh Joyce, Jarrod Lienert and Mason Wood have been named as emergencies.

Wingman Daniel McKenzie's return will have to wait at least another week after scans confirmed a minor calf injury sustained during yesterday's training session. McKenzie was previously sidelined with concussion from St Kilda's Round 13 match against Brisbane.

St Kilda will face Sydney on Saturday 25 June in the annual Pride Game at the SCG, with the opening bounce set for 7:25pm AEST.
