St Kilda has made three changes ahead of Saturday’s match against Gold Coast, with debutants Deanna Jolliffe and Simone Nalder joining the squad for its first trip to Queensland.

The duo will be accompanied by Lucy Burke, who comes in for her first game of Season Seven after making six appearances for the Saints in her debut year.

Rebecca Ott (calf), Molly McDonald (concussion) and Clara Fitzpatrick (personal leave) make way for the incoming brigade.

Jolliffe arrived at the club with pick No. 74 at this year’s AFLW National Draft after captaining the Southern Saints to its maiden Grand Final appearance, while Nalder signed on as a replacement player for Leah Cutting after securing VFLW Grand Final honours for Essendon.

Draftees J’Noemi Anderson and Caitlin Matthews have been named as emergencies, with the former to join the squad interstate.

Round 4 will mark the second week of AFLW Indigenous Round celebrations, with St Kilda to again wear its Indigenous Round guernsey designed by proud Kirrae and Peek Wurrong woman and artist of the Gunditjmara nation, Bayley Mifsud.

St Kilda will set its sights towards its third win of the season this Saturday against Gold Coast, with the opening bounce at Great Barrier Reef Arena set for 12:05pm.

Entry to Saturday’s match will be a free, non-ticketed event.
