Four Saints have received coaches' votes off the back of Sunday's win over West Coast, headlined by Mitch Owens' leading performance in front of goal.

Owens was one of three players to poll seven votes alongside Rowan Marshall and Eagles skipper Luke Shuey, stringing together a vital hand in the eventual eight-point result with four majors; the first of which came in the game's opening 20 seconds.

Jack Sinclair's eye-catching run of form also earned plaudits with five votes - extending his lead over the second-placed Callum Wilkie by 19 - while captain Jack Steele was given one vote for his efforts inside.

West Coast's Tom Barrass completed the Round 16 tally with three to his name after a comprehensive showing in defence.

Sinclair now sits in outright seventh position on the AFL Coaches' Association Champion Player of the Year leaderboard and 12 votes shy of the top-three (Christian Petracca, 69) with eight rounds left to play.
