SEAGULLS 5.1 9.4 13.6 17.7 (109)
ZEBRAS 3.2 4.6 8.10 14.14 (98)
Hugh Boxshall
27 disposals, 10 tackles, 10 clearances, one goal
It was another strong showing from Hugh in the midfield, showing his ability to win the contested ball and clearance. He was also really impressive with his aerial work and ability to bring down contested marks.
Max Heath
16 disposals, 37 hitouts, two goals
Had a good battle in the ruck and win the hitouts, creating good connection with the midfielders and giving us first use at the source as well as going forward and hitting the scoreboard.
Alex Dodson
19 disposals, four contested marks, four goals
His best game for the year at the level. He was really strong in the air with four contested marks and made the most of it in front of goals. He was also given more time in the ruck which was good for his development.
Zak Jones
32 disposals, eight clearances, one goal
Zak was once again really strong for us and showed great leadership for our young group. Got a lot of the ball and won it both on the inside and outside which was critical.
Arie Schoenmaker
19 disposals, seven marks, six inside 50s, three goals
Arie took on a different role, playing through the midfield and on the wing. We saw his strengths through his kicking ability particularly in the second half which saw him kick three goals.
Angus Hastie
23 disposals, five intercepts, one goal
Played another good game as that highest defender and got really involved around the stoppage. Provides a good handball receive option and drives us forward with his running.
Lance Collard
18 disposals, six marks, five score involvements
His second game in a row on the wing and was able to make an impact at both ends of the field, getting back to support the defence and getting forward and linking up in scoring chains.
Paddy Dow
21 disposals, seven clearances, five inside 50s
It was good to see Paddy play his second game back and produce a strong performance. We saw his ability to win the ball in tight and it’s another good stepping stone back to his full ability.
James Barrat
12 disposals, eight marks, eight intercepts
He’s taking on some tough challenges in recent weeks as a key defender and is showing continued developments in his defensive craft. Was able to cut off the opposition on a number of occasions and used the ball well.
Patrick Said
10 disposals, three tackles inside 50, one goal
Worked his way into the game, particularly in the third quarter and was able to hit the scoreboard and provide great forward pressure with his tackling ability.
Angus McLennan
15 disposals, four marks, five intercepts
Played a solid defensive game for us, cutting off the opposition and showing composure with the ball.
Liam O'Connell
10 disposals, five tackles, four intercepts
Was given an opportunity in the midfield in the second half and we liked what we saw there. He’s been working on his offensive running as a defender and is taking strides in that area.
