St Kilda is pleased to confirm the appointment of Jimmy Allan to its coaching panel as Assistant Coach - Backline.

Allan joins the Saints from Werribee Football Club, where he has held the role of Senior Coach for the past two seasons.

In his first season at the helm of the Tigers in 2024, Allan led the club to its first premiership in 31 years and was awarded VFL coach of the year.

A decorated state level player in his own right, Allan carved his reputation on-field in South Australia at both North Adelaide and Norwood, with three Magarey Medals, five best and fairest awards and a premiership among his many accomplishments.

“We’re really pleased to welcome Jimmy and his family to St Kilda,” St Kilda CEO Carl Dilena said.

“We’re proud to have one of the most highly credentialed coaching panels in the competition and we believe with his skills and experience, Jimmy will fit nicely into the environment we’ve established.”

Allan will start at the club on Monday 17 November ahead of the full playing list returning on Monday 24 November.
