St Kilda Football Club congratulates AFLW Assistant Coach Matt Skubis on his appointment as QAFLW Senior Coach of the Southport Sharks for the 2027 season.
Skubis joined the Saints ahead of the 2025 season following a stint with the Western Bulldogs, spending the past two seasons working with St Kilda's defensive group.
General Manager of AFLW Jessie Mulholland thanked Skubis for his contribution to the club and congratulated him on his appointment.
“We're incredibly thankful for the commitment, knowledge and coaching expertise Matt has brought to our club over the past two seasons,” Mulholland said.
“He has been a highly valued member of our coaching group and is well respected by both our players and staff.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for Matt to take the next step in his coaching career, and we wish him all the very best as he takes on this new role.”
