The first batch of VFL signings have arrived at RSEA Park, as they get ready for a standalone team in the competition in 2026.

Billy Galimberti

Billy is a half back flanker who joins us from GWS VFL. A penetrating kick, strong runner and good decision maker, Billy shapes as an exciting addition to the halfback line.

Joey Campigli

Joey follows us from Sandringham to the new Saints VFL side. Coming through the ranks at Old Brighton, Joey was a strong contributor in his first year of VFL footy, finishing third in the Sandringham Best & Fairest and kicking a bag of 5 against eventual premier Footscray. A premiership player with Old Brighton at the end of the year, Joey is a high jumping forward and fierce competitor who will be an exciting component of our forward line.

Elwood Peckett

Elwood joins us from Sandringham after his year was disrupted by injury. A skilled mid-forward with a knack for kicking goals, Elwood continues the Peckett legacy at St Kilda.

Billy Richardson

Billy is another who has made the move from Sandringham to the Saints, having initially moved down from Brisbane. A key-position player with strong hands and clean ball use who can play at either end, we’re excited to see Billy continuing to develop with us in 2026.

Bailey McKenzie

  • Joined From: Sandringham Zebras

Bailey joins us from Sandringham as well as he continues his development with the Saints. Bailey overcame an injury interrupted pre-season to play 11 games in his debut VFL season, impressing late in the season both as a forward and a back with his marking and kicking ability. Bailey is another one we’re excited for him to continue his development with us.

Ned Maginness

  • Role: Half Forward/Wing
  • Joined From: Sandringham Zebras

Ned joins us after 15 games for Sandringham in 2025, taking out the Best First Year Player award. Ned is a hard running half-forward/wing who is strong overhead and can impact the scoreboard as a forward, as well as being tough around the contest. We’re very happy Ned has chosen to continue his development with the Saints for season 2026.

Jack Behnk

  • Role: Fwd/Mid
  • Joined From: Casey Demons VFL

Jack is a powerful forward who can also go through the midfield. Jack has been affected by injury over the past two years but has shown particularly in the VAFA his ability to dominate games, including an impressive 37-disposal, 11-goal performance. We’re excited for him to join us for 2026.
